In this living room, the client was looking for a completely new look that reflected their style. Special attention was paid to lighting, as the room tends to be dark from the front porch and surrounding trees outside. The original ceiling light was removed from the center and replaced with two fixtures. The added dimmer feature gives the client control of just how much light is desired. The silk window treatments offer a dramatic touch to the space, as well as the privacy needed at night. Furniture, paint and custom cut area rug complete the sophisticated look. The client’s artwork and own photography add a lovely personal touch.
